Some concerns,
I am not Christian but was having difficulty finding a book on puberty for my 10 year old son that advocated abstinence and did not say that homosexuality is acceptable. Although I was concerned about the word “Fearfully” in the title, as I did not want fear associated with puberty, I purchased the book anyway. Warning-the drawings in the book are quite detailed. Most of the book was fine. I expected the references to Satan-the usual fear, shame and guilt stuff-I marked those out. My biggest concern was with a section that described oral and anal sex and basically said it was alright as long as you were married. Aren’t oral and anal sex sodomy and against Christian teaching? Strangely of all the books I readthis is the only Christian one and the only one that mentioned anal and oral sex. I marked out about 3 paragraphs total in this book before letting my son read it.
